Kayak Fishing at Pumpkin Hill Creek
Destination: Pumpkin Hill Creek

Directions: Pumpkin Hill Creek is on Pumpkin Hill Rd, towards the eastern end of Cedar Point Rd. From 9A take the Heckscher Dr exit to New Berlin Rd, follow New Berlin until it forks into Cedar Point Rd, and follow Cedar point east until you see Pumpkin Hill Rd.

Description: Pumpkin Hill Creek is north of Cedar Point Rd and west of Black Hammock Island. It runs north from Cedar Point Rd past Tiger Point where it is joined by Edwards Creek. It is located within Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park. Tiger Point is part of Betz Tiger Point Preserve a new COJ park that currently does not have launch access. The area has plenty of oyster bars, sand bars, and grass. Up toward's Tiger Point there are some deep spots.

Difficulty: Easy.

Closest Bait&Tackle Shop: White Shell Fish Camp.

Launches: There is one primary launch into Pumpkin Hill Creek (L1). The creek is very shallow south of the launch so beware that on an outgoing tide you may get stranded in the mud.
