Massive Reds!

Post by jmdesignz2 » Sun Dec 08, 2019 11:03 pm

Intracoastal - I've been out each of the past two weekends and massive reds have been active on mud flats near deep water.

Have not been able to connect with one yet. I've had some close calls with my top water. One red I watched torpedo towards my top water. He was so big, he was pushing a wake. He boiled on my lure but missed and did not come back for seconds.

Spooked a few others that pushed massive wakes as well.

Trout have been active too as well as flounder.

While I missed the massive reds, I did manage a few 18ish inch reds. A 20+ inch trout and a couple keeper flounder (separate weekends)
Mainly super active on the low tide but the top water has been very effective on calling up trouts and reds of all sizes.

Biggest Red on top water in the last month was 24"+ and a 24" Trout.
