Long time kayak fisher, and bought a boat. Nice one, but really struggling to get the boat vibe, it just doesn’t fish like my hobie. Anyone else made the transition? Report: deep creek and Pine island area, deeper water bends. Few small reds, lots of cat trash and some croakers/whiting and small drum. One fun but small an2.5 ft shark. All on bottom or slip float and dead shrimp. Jacksonville is tough, vs my gulf flats and mosquito lagoon trips. Missing the kayak. Help, encouragement appreciated.

I have a boat and several kayaks. If I fish 10 times....7 will out of the kayak.
