Please remove sold items or mark them sold

Is there anyway of removing items that are sold? This way we all could review what is actually for sale. Just a thought......

Re: Remove sold items
We do go through and remove old ads. (Not every day)
The oldest ad on here is dated Jan 16th 2011.
Makes the entire section 45 days old.
What we dont want to do is remove someones ad, and its not sold.
Authors of classifieds can delete their own thread.
To Delete Your Ad!!
Click on "EDIT" at the bottom of your Original (1st) post.
On the edit page, there is a small delete square on the first line, ABOVE your "Subject" line.
Check the box, click submit at the bottom of the post box, DONE
Thanks.........

After extensive, diligent, and scholarly research, there is NO evidence that life should be so serious.

Re: Remove sold items
Folks posting an ad should go and edit their original post when something is sold.

nolebasser....not certain if you can delete the whole thread once it has been answered...??
The BEST way for you and other to mark them SOLD so they can be quickly deleted, is to EDIT your first post...and in the SUBJECT LINE...just type "SOLD"....
KM and the Mods will spot it and delete it more quickly that way....thx...JohnYaksJax

Re: Please remove sold items or mark them sold
Let's mark them as sold and not delete them. I was considerring the Kel-Tec today and came back to find it gone/deleted. Other BST boards that I frequent require the seller to only sell the item on 1 site at a time to avoid the "sorry I already sold it" reply. I know the intent is to sell it ASAP but it sucks to make a decision and be disappointed.
I would say get rid of the "BUMP" and let the BST do it's thing.
