Spray skirts and cockpit covers

I purchased a Field and Stream Eagle Run 12 kayak recently and am looking to purchase both a cockpit cover and spray skirt for the kayak. I plan to use the boat mainly for fishing (inland bodies of water), and not much if any whitewater use. Any off the rack covers and skirts fit well? Basically just looking for a skirt that would keep spray out and maybe some rain. I live in Northern Illinois and would be using the boat basically in the Great Lakes region, whether on lakes or rivers. Thanks! Mike E.

That kayak has a big cockpit opening, so it's not going to be as easy to find a generic spray skirt to fit it. I think Dick's or Field & Stream sells a generic one that fits. You would have to doublecheck the dimensions to be sure.
