repairing my x-factor

Post by tacoznbeer » Sat Dec 26, 2015 12:54 pm

What would you all recommend as the best permanent fix to a hole in the bottom of my yak. On a trip on the Tallopoosa River back in October, I got hung up on a rock and put a 3/4 dime size hole in the boat. We got it fixed temporarily with some gorilla tape and gorilla glue but I need a permanent fix.

If you say a plastic weld, what is the best/most economic kit available for a DIY-er?

thanks in advance.

Thanks for the video. I like that he used the heat gun and time. I wonder if that would work to close up some of the holes on the bottom of the boat that are in the structural locations on the boat?

Thanks for sending him here. Was an easy fix (for once). In and out in less than 30 minutes!
