Fresh news straight from the kayak oven:

Malibu Kayaks fishing kayaks lines will now come with the perfect recessed spot in the hull with built in brass inserts to mount a transducer!

That's great news....when did they start doing that? I have a 2012 X Factor that was shipped in April and not sure that one has it but wil check.

I have a 2012 with the rececesed transducer mount area but no brass inserts. WTH?
