It is the best kayak for inshore fishing. It is very stable and very light. I have been offshore in this kayak, but outback handles the ocean much better.

You sure can fish but that kayak looks like a cluttered mess. But you know what.....it works.

Cluttered yes, however everything is there. Squashed into 10', within reach.

For inshore I just needs two rods, few plastics, spare hooks/jig heads and line, water, scissors, gloves and cooler with ice. Inshore fishing is much more relaxing, you can launch right from the ramp and put all your gear into a kayak. For offshore you need to drag everything through the beach and then bounce on the waves trying not to flip, which may things more difficult. Slayer is a very stable kayak, it is almost impossible to flip inshore.

Same thing happens when we go camping. My wife packs so much crap and I found out later I’m glad she did. I usually need everything she brings.
