Fort George 4/7/18

The day started well with an 18 inch trout on a Cajun thunder with a DOA shrimp. Then a 16 inch trout on the same combo. After those two quick fish it slowed down. I did get blast of excitement from a monster blue that tipped the boga at 8lbs. Ended the day with 5 trout 3 reds and the blue all of the fish were holding tight to the edge of an oyster bar on the deep side.

Good gosh. If you bleed them, theyre not bad eating.

Nice Blue! They are a heck of alot of fun. I also landed a few this size on Friday. (No trout or reds tho
)
Seems they are in the inlet heavy towards the shore near the oyster beds. They've been there the last several times ive put in.

Those big blues are fun to catch for sure.
