Fort George 4/7/18

Post by troutsniffer » Mon Apr 09, 2018 11:20 am

The day started well with an 18 inch trout on a Cajun thunder with a DOA shrimp. Then a 16 inch trout on the same combo. After those two quick fish it slowed down. I did get blast of excitement from a monster blue that tipped the boga at 8lbs. Ended the day with 5 trout 3 reds and the blue all of the fish were holding tight to the edge of an oyster bar on the deep side. Image

Nice Blue! They are a heck of alot of fun. I also landed a few this size on Friday. (No trout or reds tho :( )

Seems they are in the inlet heavy towards the shore near the oyster beds. They've been there the last several times ive put in.
