SRAces, Weimed and I decided to hit Guana Lake....IT was WINDY, Real WINDY.
We launched at the damn and got as far as our legs to could take us. It was a very tiring day.
SRAces managed 2 reds in the 23" range on shallow diving twitch bait
Weimed caught a trout in the 18+" range on the same.
And I caught a stick.

I got 1 bite and missed it as evidenced from the tooth marks on my Gulf Ripple mullet.
Was a fun day. I very much enjoyed watching those 2 catch fish.

Good for all you being able to be on the water. I am the same way, if I cant catch anything, I still enjoy watching others catch fish. Like youtube, but better!!

Glad you got out there, James, and Sunday was pretty windy....maybe a tidal creek at the lower tides might have been a better choice, but who knows.....
Congrats that both Steve and Alex got into some fish...sorry that you did not....bummer!!!

Hey James, it was good to be out with you guys. Would have been satisfied with a goose egg. That trout bite was the only bite i had all day. The only reason i was able to hook him is because i was holding the rod while trolling. I hooked him by his eye some how. Looks like he hit it but missed and i was able to hook him with the "trouble" hook

That strong wind did make it challenging for sure. But it was good to be on the water with good friends.
