Guana SML + Kayak + Luck = FISH

Post by dmason57 » Sat Aug 06, 2011 7:30 pm

Had an excellent morning fishing just North of the tower, trout bite was strong between 7:30 - 9:30 AM. Caught more than a dozen big TROUT and one slot RED. Met up with Brian (his first time for SML) He got into the RED's and kept a fat 26" brute. These in the picture were invited home with me for a family fish fry!

Nice catch. Missed you at the ramp this morning. Me and cj tore it up as well at the tower. I'll post pics and report in a while

Thanks for the friendly advice at the ramp. Did you get the opportunity to move over to the spot I got pulled around by that Red? Dinner was good last night with lucky first-time catch. Tried getting the photo up on photo bucket but was not working for some reason.

Riverman,

The water at the ramp was above the bottom edge of the concrete. Had to paddle out about 75yds before deep enough to use the mirage drive. Hope to see you out there sometime.

I was out at SML friday afternoon and had a rough time. Long story short, I lost my stake out pole at the ramp and I was wondering if you or anyone else found it Saturday morning?
