Avatar file size

Post by natural_naturist » Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:14 am

I have no problem reducing the dimensions of the image...its getting it dow to 10kb that seems to be my mental challenge. I get down to about 47kb and then thats it either the image becomes too small to see or too pixelated Infraview does me no good since it is only for PC. Any help would be great!

Thanks

If you have an animated avatar (gif file) that is too big, you can resize it for free here:

Given your screen name the thought of what your avatar might contain is a bit scary.....

Is there a minimum post count required before being allowed to upload an avatar? I have a small image that I use on a number of vBulletin forums, but it will not upload here. I sized it using Photoshop CS4 to the required size and nojoy.
