Where do you get charts and maps for navigation and that help you decide where you want to fish? Also, what scale of chart is best for kayak angling purposes?

I use Google Earth, or the Fishing Spots section on this site.
After extensive, diligent, and scholarly research, there is NO evidence that life should be so serious.

Like Dreads said above, the FISHING SPOTS (top center of the page) is a great collection of launch info and fishing spots from Fernandina to Flagler Beach and has links to Terrafirma and Google maps.....
Have known people to print them out and have them laminated and take them with you!!
Also, if you are headed out to someplace outside the JAX area like IR/ML or Cape San Blas or Cedar Key, the series of "TOP SPOT" maps are top shelf stuff!! The fold nicely and are waterproof, and they have GPS coordinates, launch and B&T store info, depth readings, and show reefs and wrecks and other local info. Most local B&T shops carry them...about $20 each but they last for years!! Enjoy this great hobby, habit, sport, addiction!!
