have not fished it but I drove by Six Mile Ramp on Saturday. It looked like a mud pit...not sure if there's enough water to launch there.

Fished the lake side yesterday. 6 Mile looked muddy so I put in at the dam. Water depth where I went was 1 to 4 ft. Caught Trout on the West side and nothing but Reds on the East side of the lake. The bite was good using DOA shrimp on popping cork and casting Gulp swimming Mullet or the Berkley 3" Pogy swimming Shad.

I fished the lake side on Saturday, Almost put in on the river side because there was plenty of water. good thing I didn't because at low tide there was 100' of mud at the end of the ramp.
Lake side had decent water, between 1-4 feet at most places. I managed 3 trout by trolling a soft plastic, 2 shorts and one nice keeper that did a sweet self release at the side of the Hobie.
They are still working on the dam with no end in sight

Any idea what they're doing at the Dam *this time*? They :joker: :joker: :joker: always seem to be monkeying with it every year, resulting in fish kills, etc. Nothing like seeing dead fish carcasses, last time I was there. Always in a state of perpetual foochie... Now what? Isn't any raising or draw-downs only a matter of opening/closing the sluices?

Improvements to the dam from storm damage. Supposed to be completed by August.
