I just want to congratulate Matt on a hard earned, well deserved accomplishment.
We all know that there is always a bit of luck involved in fishing but those of us that know him and know Guana can attest to the fact that he's put in the time and paid his dues and not just Guana. He's worked night jobs and then turned around and took people fishing or on back to back kayak tours just to make ends meet. He's gone out and paddled all day just to observe and take notes. He does whatever he has to, to be able to do what he loves. As an everyday working stiff I admire the guys who have the drive and determination to do that. Plus he's one of the nicest guys you'll meet and very helpful to those who just ask.

Couldn't agree more, huge congrats. Glad I was there to get a pic of him and this slob. Can't say enough how impressive it was watching him getting this girl to eat with the drawdown so low.

Whoa! I didn't know Matt won until now! Way to go man!!! That thing's big enough to go after the wild pigs that go down to water's edge.

Matt took me out as a client back in October and I can say his advice and enthusiasm was what got me started in this fishing thing again after a long break. He was not secretive about his tactics and really wanted me to have a good time. Great guy and I really am happy for him!
