We find that we have folks on the website who are from different parts of the country. Would you be so kind as to putting your location on your profile? Make it as general as necessary, but will help. Thanks in advance.

When discussing fishing limits, type of water you fish and the type of kayak you may fish from. Still looking to find out where you live CY....

I think that is a good idea... I have often wondered where some of the members were from.

"Fishing limits"? What do "limits" have to do with anything?

..."type of water you fish"?...mostly salty and wet. How about you?

..."type of kayak you may fish from"...I fish from a kayak (what type is of little to no significance). But I do NOT fish from a SoloSkiff, which is definitely NOT a kayak. How about you?

This is jaxKAYAKfishing.com , not jaxSOLOSKIFFfishing.com , isn't it?

not that it matters, but I feel as though the solo is a sort of evolution of the kayak, in its basic form, to a more of a small fishing craft. I don't intend to fish mine in any tournaments, but it isn't too far off base from the pedal drive kayaks by hobie or native. and I am not downplaying any kayak. lord knows, when I first signed up for these forums, I was in the market for a baseline kayak. always had my eyes on the solo, but never committed to anything. either way, I don't feel as though im better than anyone. heck, im not even close to being better than myself. I make it a point when I fish with someone who is in a kayak, to not use the engine. however, I have towed a few of my fellow kayakers... and the both of us appreciate the engine! sure helps when theres a strong wind/current. in the opposite direction.

btw, im in orange park, and fish exclusively on the north side from hecksher to chicopit to browns. I follow northeast florida fishing regulations.

You know I put a of effort in to my responses to my buddy and you guys just delete them on me! If I recall, from his original posts, he is from somewhere in the general area near where all that controversy is going on with the grass feed beef farm off the ST. Johns, but I could be wrong.

Grew up in Oak Harbor, and generally launch out of there or at Sherman's. Primarily fish the east side of the intracoastal from East Chicopit through Dutton Island. I will cross to the other side of the intracoastal on occasion when the boat traffic is not too heavy. I have a Native 14.5 Ultimate kayak. I have been looking at the Solo Skiff, and have no issue with anyone submitting reports, even the boat anglers especially when they give out information regarding locations and baits (like 'Morocco Madness'). Primarily fish with artificial baits. One day I want to fish Guana with someone who has knowledge of that area.

If you are interested, i believe ChippMatt from this forum guides Guana.
