new addition to the fleet
Pulled the trigger on a new Malibu Mini X from Strike Zone.
Dave and Archie are great folks to work with.
They have good prices and that causes me to buy too much every time I go there.
I have been wanting to get this yak for a couple of years now for a spare or short trip yak.
Now I need to get a seat, paddle, and rig up an anchor and trolly new stake out pole.
Maybe get a fish finder on it, not sure yet.
What have I done to myself again?

Dig the malibu's, money well spent. I bet that thing will carry like a paddle board at 40 lbs.

It's a lot less than the X factor for sure.
I am a little concerned about the possibility of having a wet butt if it rides too low for me.

They are sweet little boats. Light, easy to move around, stable, and fantastic in a creek.

I also like that the front hatch is watertight unlike the X factor.
I may just keep it in the back of the truck for a quick trip after work.
When I take the larger yak I look like a homeless person with all of the gear I end up carrying.
This will make me downsize the gear I bring.

I need a new seat.
The one for my x factor is too long.
It covers the hatch by about 3".
Anyone know of a seat that will fit?
