Know we have lots of folks from out of town who will be fishing strange water. Lots of you will be trying to figure out what lures to use.
Earlier today I tied new leaders and went ahead and tied my start out lures. Not promising you will catch fish but here is my game plan.
Starting out to get my early morning trout on top water. This plus bone Spook Jr. Will be my first lures.
Will then go to my go to Slayer Gold finger for reds followed with Slayer COC for flounder
Good Luck!

What kind of popper is that and how do you work it? I've never really used one before because I usually do well with a spook or badonka donk for topwater.

I heard plastic worms and red wigglers work great.
Seriously, thanks for sharing. I am looking forward to meeting all of you Friday night. I will be there hanging out with Gumby.

Hey JMan.....I also thought that first picture was some type of "popper"....Like a Chug Bug or similar lure, and those have worked for me early mornings on higher tides.....JYJ

You can purchse at Strike Zone on Beach Blvd.

Ugh....the plastic worms actually have been working for me, but I really prefer the straight tail lure in the photo. I've definitely broken away from paddle tails.

In a different recent post/thread you chastised others for sharing details/specifics about fishing locations.
Here you're asking, "where you will be fishing."
I'm confused. C'mon man, make up your mind.
