I'm gonna try to make it out to this one. I could use all the topwater help I can get. Haven't used floats much either, so this should be good.

Hey Weekend Warrior......the opportunity to watch and hear you and "The Mayor of Chicopit" at the same Clinic might just convince me to head to Black Creek Outfitters on my day off!!

Seriously, the last seminar that I did featured your Dad doing the "Topwater Fishing" piece and he did really great.......looking forward to seeing you again and learning from both of you!!

Hello there all you kayaking and fishing folks. I just register after months of visiting and reading all the responses and threads. I have been in the Jacksonville area now for over 20 years moving here from Maryland, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, California, Oklahoma, Germany, and Vietnam over the 40 years prior to coming here . I tried fishing back when I first moved here but after catching my one and only FROG FISH, stopped fishing. I have been looking for a cheap way to get back into fishing and kayaking seems to be one of the least costly. I see that there is going to be a seminar on “top water and float fishing” next Thursday the 11th, I plan to attend, I know I will learn something as I really know nothing now. I am retired military (US Army) and now work for the Navy, married with 4 grown children and 7 grandkids, we go camping (Motor Home) a great deal of the time and belong to The Northeast Florida Camping Club. Kayaking and camping looks like it will go together. I look forward to meeting you at next Thursday’s class.

I have a question about the class on Thursday....is it a wet class or dry? Should we bring our yaks & fishing stuff?

No yaks needed, but if you want to bring a rod and reel, I will take some time to work with people out at the dock after the speaking time is up. We will be speaking for about 45 minutes or so, leaving time for open forum in the end for Q/As. Look forward to seeing you out!

Hi RLend,

I am RMT's brother-in -law. I was also at the clinic at BC this evening......wish I could have had the opportunity to meet you. Maybe RMT and I can can get together with you, in the near future, at SML and catch a few. I have been fishing by myself lately due to his busy schedule with his boys.
Look forward to meeting you soon!
