Launched around 11:30 am, during a low incoming tide. Great weather, but a little breezy. Water temp felt pretty cold.

I was primarily targeting Black Drum, but while on the way to the deeper holes I was working the grass line with a Skitterwalk and caught a nice upper slot Redfish. When I got to one of the deeper spots I dropped down some fresh dead shrimp and immediately started getting bites. I caught about half a dozen small Black Drum (two lower slots), and LOTS of small Sheepsheads. I ran out of bait quickly, and with a few fish in the cooler, I decided to call it a day.

Thanks, John!

You never know which particular lure is going to get the job done. Middle of the winter, middle of the day, breezy and a little choppy, and my best catch of the day hit a top water lure
An old, scratched-up Skitterwalk with new hooks.
