Hi all I have just joined JAX, I fish out of my Hobie Outback, I'm located in Pt Charlotte, but I'm interested in coming up to Jacksonville for some Flounder fishin. Does anyone have any spots they would share for some Flounder? They have to be one of my favorite fish to catch. So tight lines everyone thanks for any info Neil

You’ll probably get more responses after today’s Flounder Poundert tournament LOL

Oak Harbor . Use Mud minnows . It's like crack to them , and there're some big flounder in there .

Usually oak harbor is a good bet this time of year but it’s been very slow for me and I live in the neighborhood. Too many people gigging it these days makes it hard for us hook and line guys. There’s a couple gig boats between oak harbor and chicopit every night now.

What is considered a doormat flounder?
above 16 inches?

Find mud flats near deep water channels - fish at outgoing tide near and up to dead low. During light rain and or low cloudy days are best.
