Nice video. What is the nice beach to launch a kayak there? Did you see any tarpons?

I'm surprised they did not bite. Did you use a finger mullet? I will try to catch some tarpons next weekend. If someone wants to join me on a kayak, send me a prv message. The weather should be fine for offshore trip early in the morning.

I was out in the surf out at Jax Beach just north of the pier (8/9) chasing the Tarpon smashing the pods. I didn’t catch one, but some other kayaker on the water did and it was insane watching it jump and drag him out. I caught to sharks about 3’ in length that day.

I am new to BTB and I am only going out if:
- 2' and under
- West Wind under 9 mph preferably but never if any wind over 9
- Plan to be back no later than 3:00pm

My availability is limited to Wednesday and sometimes Saturday mornings, but any day fishing is better than none right?
