I posted a while back about getting skunked at a local creek, and I wanted to know if there are other local, and smaller creeks, to learn on with a high probability of catching fish? Ive been i to Browns and Clapboard, as well as the ICW at PalmValley, and am curious about areas worth a spot that are smaller and easier to paddle around in/fish?

Rangerv88 I’m a noob myself and I just took my kayak out for the first time this past Wednesday. I launched at little Talbot island on the campground site. Shallow, slow moving water so you can paddle around so you can get your bearings and Simpson Creek holds plenty of fish. Here’s my report I posted:

If you’re looking for a fishing buddy I would be happy to join you!

Good luck.
