Just got back from a trip I took to the Middle Keys, fishing from Marathon to Bahia Honda. Glad to report the fishing is excellent. There is a lot of debris in the water but that has had a good effect of creating new "reefs" that attract bait and larger fish.

Saw lots of juvenile tarpon along the edges of flats and mangroves where there was a deeper channel. I did not see any tarpon over 40 lbs on this trip other than at Robby's and Old Key West Harbor. I hooked into 7 tarpon and landed one. My other catches included barracuda, jacks, grouper, mangrove and mutton snapper. I had some shots at small bone fish but did not get any of them to eat.

Here is the video that I shot on the trip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypXR7sw7xD4
