Hello folks,
Do you know any bait shop that has live mullets in St. Augustin - Guana? Sometimes it is just a pain to catch them. Any good spots to catch live bait? You can prv me if you don't want to give out a spot, I do not fish too often :D

If you go to the bait shack on the West side of the Vilano bridge there's a sea wall to the left of the boat ramp I,ve always been able to catch plenty of finger mullet there the bait shop doesn't mind, I still go in every couple times and buy shrimp to be polite, just bring polarized glasses so you can see the schools cruising by. My understanding is most bait shops don't keep finger mullet in stock because they kill themselves bumping into the sides of a tank before they can all get sold so I've always caught my own.

Just for the sake of validity and clarification the bait shacks still open, if you call that number "904-217-3486" and tell Cheryl her bait shack isn't there she'll wanna know whose spreading rumors.

Cut frozen mullet works just as well.

Hey Fishinguy21....Thanks for the "clarification" on The Bait Shack.
The fairly old biz card that I have has that info, except it lists:
"Elaine Mussallem: Owner" on it....if I remember correctly, she was a very pretty lady!!
Thanks....JYJ
