Can't wait until they make it up here, Alexandria, VA. From what I hear they show up in full force. I just missed it last year but I'm ready for them this time.

SW123....Thx for the report and pix of the shad arriving, and I have never run down South to try to catch some...and have ALWAYS wanted to catch a few, especially on the flyrod or and U/L spinner. NICE one in that pic too!!

Dougy....Good Luck getting into them and hope you report some success on catching them in here!! Nice to see you back in here occasionally!!

Glad you got some. I went a few weeks back.got a couple plus some nice bream and crappie on the fly. It's a nice change of pace and scenery from the salt. A lengthy drive but worth it when you get there.
