Hey Mtmouse.....I enjoyed your YouTube video on you upgrades to your new Hobie Compass...nice job and nice video!!

I am very seriously considering selling my Hobie Revolution 11 that only has 6 or 8 trips on it, and getting a Compass....my thoughts were an Outback, but the Compass looks like a replacement for it, and some of the features of the Compass seem to match what I am looking for!!

I am not an "electronics" kinda guy....more bare bones than that...but you have given me some ideas on rigging and placement of fishing gear.

PS: Did you upgrade the Mirage Drive that comes with it to the MR180 model?? I am not sure if I wanna do that.....

I have two Pro Anglers with the Mirage 180 drives, I will probably grab one of them when I feel the need. The plan for the Compass is more open water trolling for walleye and jigging for walleye, so I don't expect I will need the Mirage 180 that often.

Boy, you've got her rigged.
It's slick.

That Lowrance screen is huge!
