What's going on guys, just wanted to share a quick report with y'all. Originally, I was going to my kayak out and fish horseshoe bend but as I was about to put in my buddy called who lives on the Northside called and asked if I wanted to take the boat out...So naturally..I hung up the paddle and he met me at the ramp as he lives a few minutes down the road.

I'd like to share my thoughts about catching Redfish in the winter time.
1) Low tides have produced time and time again for me thus far, even when it was pretty cold I was able to find a few hanging around some mud flats AND the fish were usually in tight schools
2) Slow things down. These fish are still cold, and trying to be as efficient as possible. Less work=less energy wasted.
3) Mud Flats and oyster/shell beds are your friend.
Some of you may understand these concepts...but some may not..So I thought I'd share. Here are a few images and a link to the video on my youtube page. If you'd like, subsribe, like, or leave comment!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC5zouuUeyQ&t=160s

I was throwing anywhere from 1/8th to a 1/4th. I recommend something on the lighter end of the spectrum though.
