Had a little time off before heading into the office on 12/28. Conditions were brutal but the fishing was on fire. Caught a ton of lower slot reds, and got on 3 good sleigh rides from one over and 2 upper slots. All fish were caught on a swimbait. 1 small flounder and 1 keeper trout to go along with the reds. Fish were sitting on the edge of deep holes at the last of the outgoing and first of the incoming. I'd love for you guys to subscribe to the channel. I do a lot of work back in Texas with some of the best Kayak Fishing organizations in the country as well, but I'm back home to stay in Jax now. Hit me up if you want to get on the water some time. Tight Lines... -JT

Nice fish! Looks like I need to get back on the water. A slot or bull red is my holy grail right now; all I catch are rat reds.

I've been going quite a bit over the last couple weeks as the holiday scheduled allowed for it. I've been hitting some areas that were just absolutely loaded with Trout (and some good ones at that), but I was only catching smaller reds. I haven't been to oak harbor in a long time and just decided I'd try there. There was some really good redfish action going on.

Nice! I’m still relatively new to all this and learning the area. I snuck out one day before the holiday and went into the creeks for the first time off Heckshere and got into a bunch of dink trout. Fun to catch, but not what I was after

hit me up some time and we'll go. Always nice to have someone else out on the water with you.

Hello Fit2btide.....Nice day you had up at Oak Harbor, and I enjoyed your pix and also the YouTube video. Some of those reds were a handful for you and had some heft to them.
Congrats on your catching....JohnYaksJax
