got on the water at 5 AM tide was almost all the way out came across a couple otters that came within 10 feet of my kayak they didn't really notice me in the dark and just kept on foraging, the pics weren't that good, before sunrise I caught 2 smaller reds and the biggest of the day a 26 incher he ate a gulp thrown under a dock I had my bass setup with me and 12 lb mono compared to my usual spinning rod and braid setup so I took my time getting him in, after that I missed a huge topwater strike from what I believe was a tarpon then caught the rest of the reds when I moved to another creek ended the day with 14 reds and 2 small black drum.
