Hey Slipnslide.....I really like the Astral Ronny which was made with fishermen in mind.
Lots of zipper pockets and places to put your fishing license and cell phone into also.

The ladies version of the same PFD is called the "Linda" and it has most of the same features and is "anatomically designed" for women....Great idea to have a separate model!!

PS....Black Creek Outfitters stocks both of them normally, and they are a sponsor in here and their info is at the bottom of the page.....

A good pfd is one that you will wear, I prefer an inflatable which must be worn at all times, others prefer a floatable pfd
that must be available in the kayak to worn if needed. Just my opinion, but you need to wear a pfd at all times, and not
have to put one on when you need it, for example You are in the water, your pfd is in the kayak or drifting in the current
in the opposite direction from You.

They are called life jackets not personal floatation devices. You wear them to save your life. Not to float along with the current.

" never pulled a dead person out of the water with a life jacket on"

I like my Astra Ronny Fisher. Others love their NRS Chinook[sp]. Still others only wear an inflatable. Get one you like and will wear it.
