I launched close to midday today, after it warmed up a bit. Great weather, but a little windy. The water was very clear and not too cold. The fish were scattered, and there were big schools of small Mullet all around.

I shared one spot with a Great Blue Heron that let me get surprisingly close.

based on the photographic evidence, it appears the flounder was "coerced" home for dinner.

Thanks all!

I actually caught two Flounder like that, but all fish were released. I need to practice CPR until we eat up the fish we have in the freezer.

I think that heron was hanging around waiting for a handout.
