Good paddle tails are not hard to find. I am partial to Z Man, Saltwater Assasin, Slayer and DOA. They all catch all 3 of our main prey in these waters for me. White is my favorite color but I do mix it up from time to time.

I like my paddle tales to have a darker back and a light underside.
Why?? I don't know I just do.
Oh and a chartreuse tail.

My two favorites here lately are the Z-man swimmerz in Redbone, and Z-man paddlerz in Houdini.

Just remember what most of us call Paddletails are actually shad/swim tails!! There is a difference between a paddletail and a shad/swim tail. ie.. slayer for example doesn't sell any paddletails but most of us call them that. They sell swim/shad tails or stick baits. Just an example. Also look at DOA they sell both Paddle and Shad tailed baits.

I love paddle tails and stingray grubs. They've been around a long time. And don't forget the Sassy Shad now owned by Mister Twister.
