Want some great music while out on the water? Pair the music loaded on your phone with the JawBone Jam Box. Then to keep it waterproof, slip the Jam Box into The Vault. Just finished mounting The Vault on a Ram Mount.

Here is the link for the Jam Box. https://jawbone.com/speakers Have seen them on sale on various websites for $129.

Looks like a professional installation Jerry, how is the sound quality? One more thing...I will probably get the crooked eye from a few readers, a couple of years ago I got on a real strong drum bite at the lake, I fished a few choice holes and produced large drum every time out for no less than ten strait. Anyway one thing every trip had in common is I played classical music out loud while soaking natural bait, the biggest was 34"s, he perferred Chopin, C.

C., the sound quality is fantastic for such a small bluetooth speaker. Most people can't believe that all that sound comes from such a little black box. Fish on Simpson's like to listen to Jimmy Buffett!

haha, man, thats cool, and its a great example of how different everyone is. i take a lot of nature walks on the weekends, and it never fails that you can be miles back on a trail and start hearing some loud rap music or something from the guy coming around the corner with speakers hooked up to his iphone...i took a buddy fishing on guana lake one time and he had his phone cranked up with some rock music the whole time, it completely prevented me from being in the right frame of mind for fishing. with that being said....you should hook up some nice 15" subs to that thing, haha....i hear the reds love deep bass (not to mention the gators)

Always try to keep the sound low so not to disrupt others while on the water. And when I am approaching my fishing spots, it get turned down even lower :D

However, after a successful day of fishing you might be able to hear me returning to the launch with this song playing away

I think it is very interesting that big drum like Classical music and apparently dink trout like Jimmy Buffet    .

I sort of agree with barnacleboy, one of the great things about kayak fishing is the solitude and peace. It is a chance to get away from civilization for a while. Although some Chopin might be nice occasionally.

Here is the link for purchase of The Vault case http://www.audioactiv.com/Articles.asp?ID=251

I just bolted a Ram ball mount to the back of the case.

I like your returning music. When I'm paddling out I prefer this.
