I've owned 8 since 2007 (really thought it was more) had as many as 5 at one time, currently have 3. Five were bought used.

Cobra Navigator XF
Old Town Dirigo 140 (first SIK)
WS 10 ft SIK (forgot the model)
WS Pungo 140 (great SIK for river trips, camping)
Necky Manitou 13 (fast and nimble, a little cramped for my feet)
Hobie Quest 13 (still have)
WS Tarpon 160 (still have)
Venture Easky 13 (SIK, still have)

And I'm not done.

Still looking for that lightweight composite SIK that fits, feels good, and doesn't break the bank.
The old Necky Dolphin looks like a great hull and layout, I may scout one of those. Seems heavy, though.

Plus, once I retire I'll build at least one or two wood kayaks, maybe a canoe.

Just curious, also add how many wive's you've had. Let's see if there is a correlation!

1 - $160 Flex 9'-6" Sit Inside. When i bought it i was living in ohio thinking (saddened by the thought) i would never leave that place (the Mad River was 5 minutes away). And then i got a job here in Jax....Now that i live here, I'm always afraid a snake will try to get in the kayak with me and I am on a constant lookout for an inexpensive SOT.
1 - Wife.

I still have both the wife and the kayak.

1~ WS Tarpon 140 (mine)
1~ Perception Tribe 13.5 (baby mama and baby's)

1 fiancé

I know in the future though that I will be looking to get a bigger/more stable (stand up in) kayak for myself. The tribe is perfect in everyway for the girls, and its an awesome loaner kayak for fishing trips with my bros.

13'6" OK Prowler
Hobie Revo

Will keep Hobie and current GF. Both are much easier to live with.

You gotta be careful, they multiply like rabbits when you leave them alone in the yard.

Cobra XL
Hobie Adventure
Ocean Kayak Scrambler XL
Heritage Pro Fisherman 14
Sevylor SVX 200 inflatable
Malibu Extreme
Cobra Navigator XL
Victory Blast
Old Town canoe
and I'm about to acquire a Moken Angler 13

Different boats for different strokes :?
That said, I rarely use anything other than the Hobie.

Got into yakfishing in January, a few months after the split from the wife. So far I've had Therapist (Perception Caster 12.5) and Second Opinion (Malibu Stealth 14). Official tally, 2 yaks and one soon to be ex wife. For the record Therapist said I was better off on the water and Second Opinion has confirmed that.
