I hear that fishing for Reds in the grass is mostly a winter sport. How do you guys dress for the weather ? Do I need chest waders to stay dry ? How about wading boots ? Any advice would be appreciated.

Fishing Reds in the grass is a summer and mainly fall time. You do not need waders, only wading boots and fishing pants/shirts. You may want a couple of buffs when the bugs get thick.

Yes, it has been going on. So now through October maybe a little later. The last weekend of this month will be really good.
