There is some great river fishing in Oklahoma if you ever get that way. There are at least 3 mountain ranges with some streams holding trout as well as tailwaters. Oklahoma also has the Green Sunfish which is a very pretty freshwater fish. I attached a link to a video we made while there a couple of weeks ago. We were really roughing it on this trip staying in a cabin stream side - sometimes we couldn't use the golf cart to take us down to the river to fish.

That's a great video. Most folks don't realize how beautiful Oklahoma is. Most think of it as a dust bowl and tornado's. I was born and raised in SE KS with many trips to Ok and MO. Some great trout fishing in that area. Which river were you fishing?
