Launched out of my favorite huge public ramp around 1400. Winds were S/SW/SE and building and tide outgoing hard. Decided to head over to the bridge and glad I did. Started jigging up some nice fish right away in 20'-25'. Caught small trout, medium trout, small jacks, large ladyfish, and the highlight a 26" redfish who is getting the olive oil and oregano treatment right now. Had to call it early around 1800 due to threatening weather that I really did not feel like dealing with.

Nice catching man. That's one of my favorite places to fish. I also like how your expression changed slightly for the last pic

Ron
I was thinking the same thing, I use to wade fish with them and never had much luck. Looks like he is doing real well with them.

Eagerly waiting the response... I really would like to know how to fish this thing. Seems like it would sink like a rock. I watch some guys in PCB on youtube do fast jerks.

Hey no problem well in those deeper spots I toss it up current a little or a lot and let it sink but keep killing the wind loop if necessary (lots of times I get a strike on the first fall so I want it tight). Then right after the thud I just start dancing it along the bottom with lots of rod action but really gradual reel cranks. You can also work the water column if you want by reeling in more then letting it drop again, and repeating that.

Thanks for sharing... looks like you were in 18-25ft of water

Thanks for the reply on the Gotcha plugs. What is the shallowest water you will use them in?
