The PA 12 is quite the kayak/boat. I was very impressed with the whole thing

The seat is awesome for sure. Stability is great by being able to stand and even semi-walk around on it. Plus the other new features are a ++++.
This is the first time I have peddled a PA. Having an Outback, I was prepared for a much slower ride considering the weight of the PA. Not.... that thing will move out. Maybe it's the "new" thing, but it seemed to move as good if not better than the Outback.
Paddling will require a long paddle than the 240cm I have now. The standard Hobie paddle that comes with the PA is actually shorter than a 240 cm. Would have thought they would have made a 260 cm as a standard equiped paddle. If I had to compare the effort to paddle the PA 12 to another kayak, would have to say it is similar to a Malibu. Not bad once you get it up on plain.
While heavier than the Outback, the additional weight was manageable, especially with my trailer. Would probably need to lower the racks on my trailer to make it easier to load.
Haven't laid any cash on the table yet as I am waiting on JYJ to give me some options on color/delivery/etc. However, would probably be willing to say that I will soon have a new ride.
