If anyone goes kayak fishing over the next few days we need a report. Are you catching salt water fish or have the freash water fish taken over. With all this rain both at the begaining of the month and this last week there cannot be much salt water left in the creeks and rivers.

Well I have been keeping my reports secret, along with my "how to fish in 30" of rain and 30 knot winds" techniques

Inshore is the only place there has been any activity because at the jetties, offshore, and at the beach it's a sargasso jungle out there. We need some west winds badly to clean things up, and this should come as the forecast is calling for W winds in the am and E winds in the pm finally this weekend.

However inshore is going to be dirty with all the runoff and garbage in the river and the ICW from the rain with elevated tides that will take a bit to abate. The crap in the water may leave fish with somewhat of a belly ache.

Guana Lake is probably a decent bet in the short term...

But not tomorrow (Thursday), because I reserved the whole lake. To get the whole lake all you have to do is sign that little clipboard at SML and cross out the rest of the signature spaces.

Wait...is that bad form?

The inlets on fire. Been hitting it pretty hard. Me and Jay(aka ChillePalmer) went out last weekend and did pretty well. Landed a large Spinner shark at around 150lbs. Biggest fish so far from the boat. 1.5 hour fight on 40lb tackle and 60lb flouro leader. Jay had to pilot the boat all over the inlet but was a blast. We also lost 2 very solid Tarpon. Damn Kelp definitely didn't make things any easier on us. Headed back out this Saturday. We will let you know how it goes. Also a few beautiful Nurse Sharks.

Welcome to JaxKayakFishing.Com. People think that posting there catches will cause over fishing at the good spots. Some of us don't care cause the good places always move!

The wind was medium not to bad still took some work but caught 4 flounder 3 reds and a few trout at Simpsons. Water is very tantic almost looks like at Mary's at times. Most caught on mullet some good top water strikes big ones to just had some hook up issues.
