Hey all, name's Aaron. I'm new to the sport/community and wanted to introduce myself. After much deliberation (new vs. used), I finally just picked up my first kayak- a very well 'seasoned' Ocean Kayak Trident 13 with a few battle scars as my first yak. (I figure I'll upgrade after I get my feet wet...) My fishing experiences thus far have consisted of trout fishing in streams up north and bass fishing on ponds as a kid, so I'm very excited to learning more about inshore and getting slimed in the flats. :)
I'd like to thank John for sharing his extensive knowledge and guidance - much appreciated. Just picked up my paddle today at BCO and very much look forward to my maiden voyage.
Thanks in advance for your patience with newb questions and see y'all out there,

A.

Hey Blueyak.....Nice to see you at BCO and THANKS for that compliment above!!!

I honestly hope that your purchase turns out to be a "dry ride" and serves you well....but give it that "leakage test" BEFORE you take it out on open water.....OK??

The AquaBound Hybrid kayak paddle you bought from me (well, Ryan!!) is a really good paddle for the price, and you got it for the same price of the lower function and heavier one!!

Give me a shout on here on my cell or email addy and we'll "stretch a line soon"....OK???
Thx again....JohnYaksJax
