What is allowed in the Classic? I know a 321fish.com "sticker" is in the captains bag but that's not very durable. Can we use the red anodized aluminum CCA boards from academy? I'm thinking of picking one up and matching up the 321fish.com sticker to it. The sticker is white/black and more visible to the camera but the aluminum is durable enough to last.

Simply tape/glue the 321 measuring tape to any board/ruler you have available. Of course, you will also need to figure out how to attach the token to your board for picture taking.

Rules state that phones are not recommended. I'll let KayakMike clarify that.

11. DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY. Participants may only use digital cameras for recording scoring fish. Entrants must bring the storage chip from their camera to check-in or bring the download cable for their camera so that pictures may be retrieved. Phones are not recommended. Cameras may be shared – in the event of camera sharing both entrants’ kayaks at launch must be initially on the roll, and each entrant will use a different unique scoring token as directed at the captains meeting, both in the launch picture and the fish scoring pictures. In the scoring fish pictures the appropriate entrant’s kayak must also be in the picture

The "321FISH.COM Official Ruler" that is given out at the Capt. Meeting DOES NOT FLOAT!!!!

Take care that it does NOT fall overboard just before you catch that 32" seatrout or 42" redfish!!!

I would puke!!! :pukeright: :pukeleft:

Good Luck everyone!!!

I mounted mine to a 2X4 in a pinch for the NFKC, I was going to remount it to something smaller and nicer but decided against it for that very reason. I will be putting a small lip on the zero end, cost me a 1/2in at least cuz my trout was hanging over the edge a lil bit.

I just picked up 8 feet of PVC board this weekend for building my box. It's 1"x6"x8'. The board was $20 and I bought some stainless screws to put it together with. I will try and get some pics when it's done.

I DO NOT recommend using the aluminum boards as mentioned above. I used one in my first tourney and had the hardest time getting my trout to not slide off while getting the pictures.

Just finished building my measurement box per the above video link. I used the same board that the video showed. It was $15 and change at the Home Depot on Atlantic. Followed the instructions step by step and it came out great!! Now I just have to wait till the captains meeting to get the sticker to put on it.

I will be building my PVC board as well before I head to Jax. Is the version handed out at the Captain's meeting adhesive backed or not? It would be nice to know whether I need to have adhesive handy Thursday night to attached it to my board. Thanks!
