 Post subject: What kinda fish is this?

While netting I have been getting these here and there over the last week. This one is 9" . What is it?

Fish who have recently arrived from the ocean usually have a silver color to them. It takes a while in our inland waterways for them to become more brillant in color.

Just wanted to add that I return 99% (keep a few mullet) of what I catch and all the baby trout were returned as well.

I catch baby trout, reds, flounder, and even a few snook it the cast net.

i regularly catch tiny nickel sized flounder and tiny little pinky sized trout in the cast net...its always cool to see a baby that ill one day catch as a monster :smoke:
