Any news yet on the work being done on the ramp?

It didn't look like they started any construction yet. There are concrete barriers blocking the ramp but you can. Get a kayak over the barrier and launch.

Hey Baron....Did you get my VM last nite about 8:00??

I was heading to Publix so I ran up there to check it out...and it is just like Backwater Bound posted above.

A week or so ago, it had a space where you could get thru with a kayak, but that is closed up. You can life a yak over it or go around on the left...put your yak on the ramp wall and then lower it to the actual ramp....I kayaker was coming out when I was there yesterday....

The only sign says RAMP CLOSED but there are no No Trespassing signs.....JYJ

I have seen folks carry the kayak down to the dock and launch from there if the tide is not to low.

Wouldnt exactly say 'limited fishing activity', maybe 'limited boat activity'. Jim and I were there Saturday and I counted 4 other kayaks in there besides us and one flats boat poling around. Plenty of yaks still using that ramp for sure.
