 Post subject: I thought I had a Red...

But it ended up being a PB 29 1/2 inch Trout. Along with 8 undersized trout, 2 Jacks, was an overall pretty good day at Haulover.

man that trout looks alot smaller on the web,was a hell of a fight ended up landing it and another kayaker was paddling by and he help me out with a snap shot, so who ever that was Thank you. also met a few other yakkers out there it was good to talk to you guys. see ya on the water.

I agree it does look a lot smaller then 29" a lot smaller.

...Or maybe the guy in the background is just super big. I use small bars of soap and pretend like I have huge muscles (stolen from Seinfeld). Same concept.

Looks bigger than 19 to me, 29 I'm not sure honestly I don't give a dam nice Trout!!!!!!!! :cheers:

maybe the excitement got the better of me, but I am a big guy, from center chest to shoulder Its about 16 inches plus the rest hanging past my shoulder so maybe 24ish I don't have a measuring stick just guestament. it was a great day and a fun fight,maybe I'll join this years tourney and give you guys a run for your money!!!!!!

Well i know he is a big guy, we have met before, the trout may not be as big as 29, but it is still a very nice trout! We all know how fisherman exagerate, thats why pics tell the real story, i would have killed for that trout during saturdays tourney :cool:

I have to tell you, so many people hold the fish two feet out in front of them to make the fish look bigger that sometimes we loose
our sense of depth or depth perception. That being said the fella holding the fish may be a big fella holding a 29 1/2" trout. Again an inch on either side of that is still a fine trout, big congrats on your PB, C.

you are 100% right. If you want the fish to look large in a photo hold it away from your body closer to the camera.
