After a long day of teaching, I decided to relax in the yak and see if I could hook up a few. Caught a 13" flounder right away but he didnt have alot of meat on his bones, so I decided to release him. I will catch him later when he is bigger.

I guess karma was on my side cause shortly after releasing the first, I hooked up another, on a free lined tiger minnow. It ended up being my person best 23". I had a larger one hooked up right before dark but lost him yak side.

Overall a good day.

Man, that things gonna eat good. I get excited when I see a big flounder on my line. Looks like you've got that three bridges area dialed.

Yes. That spot is money in the evening. The trout were slamming the water as I was leaving. Gotta get that mini X slimmed.

Nice flattie Mike! Seems like the Flounder are everywhere, I may need to lay off the trout hunting and start going after them. I'm free Sunday and would come down but I will be working til 4am Sat night after the NF Kayak Challenge. If you want to make the drive I think its about time for me to hit up Guana again.

Nice door mat. We will have to check out that creek one of these days and see if it will produce some more like that. Did you have any luck Sunday evening?
