Very nice flounder, PortOrangeRed! Congrats on your PB. I fished Sebastian before and the big flounder love mud minnows

That is awesome. Where do you put in? I'd like to take my boys there - that area seems to consistently produce.

I put in at the dirt ramp on the left right after the third bridge. Then I head southeast.

Nice door mat. We will have to check out that creek one of these days and see if it will produce some more like that. Did you have any luck Sunday evening?

Yes. I was able to land a nice black drum. Cant wait to hit the creek. I went out to the Tomoka this evening to scout with a buddy. The tarpon were rolling, cant wait to get one in the yak. Very soon.

Port Orange Red - thanks. I read on some other threads about the area. I'll do some more research and hopefully convince my 9 yo and 6 yo it'll be worth the trip from NW St. Augie.

Apparently the flounder are tearing it up right now, I caught one on TOPWATER this evening. Stopped by this morning and caught a 22 inch red on top and a jack that measured 19 inches at the fork on a jerkbait. That jack put up an AWESOME fight, I thought I had hung into a monster red!

I went down last Saturday, put in a the beach st ramp and paddled south into the first two creeks. All we caught (or saw) was about 15-20 catfish. We fished the high end of the tide (which I don't like) and I think that was part of the problem. The people fishing from the bridge had buckets full of black drum. I'm not sure what we were doing wrong. I didn't post a report cause there was nothing to report. Man, thats frustrating. What time/tide were you there on?

Any size to the tarpon? I'm anxious for the big boys to make their way up the coast but if I can meet them half way then it might be this weekend!
