Manage the weather conditions and water you go in there shouldn't be a problem.

Y'all worry about flipping. Just how many times do you flip one of those wide sit-on-top fishing kayaks anyway? I paddle a skinny sit in and really never flipped. I did roll out at a boat ramp once, but that's cause I'm old and stiff.

it would only take once to ruin a parents life! As we know when the 3-4yr olds want to start moving they do and that would increase the risk of a flip.

Cleaver. Never thought of that. I always just let the kids sit in front of me but thats a pain in the a$$ to paddle. Awesome though. Get her into it young. My 3 yo son is hooked.

Looks like a great time, my 4 year old daughter is always asking me to take her out, usually we take out the Malibu and she loves the Gator Hatch... or I make a big old bed for her in the tankwell.... for longer trips we take the canoe...and although I HATE taking out the canoe she loves to be able to walk around, lay down, dance, sing, talk, talk, talk, dance some more, talk....you get the idea. Just pack a cooler full of snacks and drinks, and once in a while you hook in to a big fish and ask her to just hold the rod for a second, the look on their face is priceless.
