Launched at SML and fished south. Caught 9 trout, only 3 of which were undersized. the biggest was 23in the smallest was... very small. The fish were scattered. One here. One there. All of the keeper sized fish were caught well south of the tower. The dinks were all north of the tower. I kept two in the 17 inch range. Let the others go.

Nice looking fish. I knew I should've kept going past the tower.

Looks like a great day at SML. I love it when those little ones have eyes bigger than their bodies. Keep up the great posts.

Nice report and fish Clark. Is that a Corky's suspending lure you were using? If not what was it and what type of retrieve or troll did you use with it? Thanks and congrats on a nice day of catching!

Acurate report Clark, the fish are still there but scattered. Nice trout, it is allways good to see the dinks, it lets you know there will be slot trout next year, C.

It is a Paul Brown Fat Boy. It's a suspending lure. Slow twitching retrieve.

I was just looking at that lure today at academy. Didn't look to me like it would be such a great lure. Glad to see i was wrong :) They do carry a pretty large assortment of the Paul Brown lures. Nice fish Clark. Keep em coming.

Nice fish.Love the baby trout. Isnt it odd how, often times, those funny looking lures will do just as well if not better than a lure that looks identical to the local bait? hmm...
